Fans of Spicks And Specks rejoice. Yelling at the TV before Myf and Alan's teams give the answers in the ultimate TV musical quiz show is a thing of the past (especially now that they've been replaced!). Now you can DIY, at home, with just your friends competing for the title of musical know-it-all.
Game is basically a DVD with Adam introducing all the usual rounds with Myf and Alan available occasionally for hints. There are 30 games to play with over 1500 brand new questions across a variety of genres.
The contents are complete and include the DVD, 40 Cover Versions game cards, 40 Substitue game cards, and a simple instruction booklet which includes scoresheets (probably best to copy these so you can play forever). In addition you will need a book (any book though obscure or odd topics are better) for playing Substitute, and some doodling paper and pens with which to play Cover Versions.
Very important:- The game does come with the original pair of buzzers (the Alan one is still wrapped in plastic) but neither of them currently work. They are simple little devices like those birthday cards that play a tune and the batteries have run out of juice. A handy person could probably carefully open the cardboard sleeve to replace the batteries, but just clapping your hands instead, or yelling out first works just as well....let's face it, you're going to end up just yelling out anyway.
The disc is clean and does have a couple of small marks but we had no problems with it. Everything else is in good condition as per the photos except for the non-functioning buzzers (as above).
