The contents pages [photo 3] provide a good indication of what is covered. Individual colour coded sections look firstly at sport types, their particular injury hotspots and recommends specific exercises for flexibility, strengthening, power and stability. Next is the injuries section which includes causes; symptoms and diagnosis; risks and complications; and estimation of times to recovery with details of both medical and physiotherapy treatments for each type of injury. The final section is treatment and rehabilitation which includes the 169 step-by-step exercises referred to earlier.
